Eriksen agrees to terminate contract

Christian Eriksen’s time at Inter Milan is set to come to an end before the end of the year. After both players And the club agreed to terminate the contract.

Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest during the Euro 2020 match between Denmark and Finland.

He received emergency life support in Parken Stadium. In copenhagen before being taken to a nearby hospital. Which he has attached an ICD device or a defibrillator

Eriksen is still consider a player at Inter. But according to Gazzetta dello Sport. His contract could be terminate soon.

Rules in Italy state that people with defibrillators like Eriksen are not allow to play professional sports. But in theory, the 29-year-old can still play in other countries with different rules.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter support and respect Eriksen and letting him go to another club is a good idea for all parties.

The Denmark international has made 60 appearances for Inter since joining from Spurs 18 months ago, helping Inter to their first Serie A title in 11 years last season.

Inter accept this is impractical and are working towards allowing Eriksen to leave the club.

Eriksen joined Inter from Tottenham in January 2020 on a four-and-a-half year contract.
